A Mountain Hunter Record Book Committee has been established to oversee all aspects of the Record Book and Awards Program. The Mountain Hunter Record Book Committee is responsible for the following:

• Administering the measuring system and making clarifications and changes as needed.
• The setting of minimum scores for the Record Book and reviewing and adjusting these minimums when deemed necessary.
• The establishment and verification of species categories and boundaries and any revisions if need be.
• Appointing, instruction, and certifying Official Mountain Hunter measurers and monitoring their performance.
• To review and verify all entries for the Record Book.
• Monitoring and verification of all Slam Awards as well as choosing the nominees for the Major Awards.
• The setting of all fee structures: i.e.; entries; Achievement and Slam Awards.
